Other varieties 143x207, 144x208 are also produced, but it is more difficult for these types to accommodate a blanket, because no one has canceled the 3% shrinkage after washing. This is especially true for plain weave cotton fabrics - ranfors, calico, percale, poplin.
Also, many manufacturers produce duvet covers of other sizes, most often to suit their products. Therefore, it is more advisable to buy a bedding set and insulating accessory from one manufacturer; then they will fit perfectly in size. Or carefully ensure that the bed set is 5, or better yet 10 cm larger than the blanket.

The shrinkage of materials after washing should be taken into account, especially if you do not take into account the manufacturer’s recommendations and wash at high water temperatures. Satin has the smallest geometric deviations after various deformations, and calico has the largest, because, as a rule, calico has half the density.
Choosing a bed from brands from Ukraine is difficult at first glance; just carefully compare the dimensions of the duvet cover and blanket, give a margin of 10 centimeters on both sides and you will protect yourself from all possible problems.
